What is Graston?

The Graston Technique is a soft tissue diagnostic and therapeutic treatment method utilizing stainless steel instruments. This remarkable procedure allows us to detect and treat areas of scar tissue or adhesions in the muscles, tendons and ligaments that can lead to pain and disfunction.

How does Graston work?

The Graston Technique utilizes the instruments to break down adhesive scar tissue that forms between muscle fibres, tendons and ligaments. This procedure, in turn, stimulates the body’s process of rebuilding new healthy connective tissue.

An examination will determine whether you are a candidate for Graston. Graston Technique is currently being used by many university and professional sports teams in the USA. This procedure is now available at exclusive offices in Canada. Diagnoses which have responded particularly well include:

• Medial epicondylitis/osis
• Lateral epicondylitis/osis

• Rotator cuff tendinitis/osis
